Orders & Account
Yes, if you reach us before the order ships. Email [hello@prepflora.com] with your order number as soon as you can — we usually pack and ship within 24 hours of payment, so the window is short. Once a package has a tracking number, we can't pull it back. If you only need to update the shipping address, that's a quicker fix and we can usually catch it.
First, check your spam, promotions, and updates folders — confirmation emails sometimes land there on the first order from a new sender. If it's still missing 30 minutes after checkout, email [hello@prepflora.com] with the email address and last 4 digits of the card you used, and we'll resend it. Confirmation emails are not required for the order to ship; we'll send tracking once the package leaves the warehouse either way.
No — guest checkout is fine. You'll still get order confirmation, tracking, and customer support, just without a saved password. If you'd like to save your shipping address, see past orders, or get to checkout faster next time, you can create an account at the end of checkout in one click. Either way works.
Yes — at checkout, just enter the recipient's name and address as the shipping address. Your billing address (the one tied to your card) stays separate, so the recipient won't see what you paid. We don't include a price-printed packing slip; the box only shows the items shipped. If you'd like a short handwritten gift note included, mention it in the order notes field at checkout.
Coming soon. A monthly auto-refill option (with a small subscriber discount) is on our near-term roadmap, but we want to get it right rather than rush it. In the meantime, joining our newsletter unlocks 15% off your first order — drop your email in the signup form on our homepage and the discount code lands in your inbox within a minute. For now, all orders ship as one-time purchases.
Products & Ingredients
Most are all three — check the individual product page for the specifics. All of our supplements are gluten-free and dairy/lactose-free. Most are also vegan or vegetarian: Colon Gentle Cleanse, Probiotic 40 Billion, Gut Health, and Digestive Strips are vegan-friendly. Recovery Cream contains shea butter (a plant-derived ingredient, vegan) but is sometimes labeled separately because it's a topical, not an ingestible. Each product page lists the full certification stack near the bottom.
Our supplements are formulated free of the major U.S. food allergens — no wheat/gluten, no dairy/lactose, no soy, no eggs, no peanuts or tree nuts (Recovery Cream is also nut-free; shea butter comes from the shea tree's seed, not a true nut, and is generally well tolerated, but if you have a confirmed shea allergy, skip it). Most are also corn-free and non-GMO. Always check the printed label of each bottle for the full ingredient list before your first dose, especially if you have a diagnosed allergy.
Yes — manufactured in cGMP-certified U.S. facilities with third-party batch testing for purity and potency. That covers heavy metals, microbial contamination, and label-claim verification (i.e., the bottle says 40 billion CFU and the bottle delivers 40 billion CFU). Certificates of Analysis are available on request — email [hello@prepflora.com] and we'll send the most recent batch report for whichever product you're asking about.
All PrepFlora products are manufactured in cGMP-certified facilities and produced in accordance with applicable supplement quality regulations. cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) requires documented quality-control procedures, ingredient verification, batch records, sanitation standards, and manufacturing oversight throughout production.Every batch is third-party tested and traceable by lot number, allowing production and quality records to be verified when needed.
Two years from the manufacture date when sealed; 6-12 months after opening when stored properly. Keep supplements in a cool, dry place (kitchen cabinet is fine; bathroom is not — humidity from showers degrades capsules). The probiotic specifically benefits from refrigeration after opening to extend live-strain viability, though room temperature is acceptable. Recovery Cream lasts 12 months after opening at room temperature. The expiration date is printed on each bottle.
The two balms play slightly different roles:
- Recovery Cream is a multi-ingredient soothing balm built specifically for after-sex skin care — apply once you're done, not during.
- Raw Shea Butter is single-ingredient (refined shea, nothing else — no fragrance, no preservatives, no fillers). We sell it as skin care, but because the formula is so simple, some people in the community use it as a natural lubricant for non-condom sex or solo play. We don't position it that way ourselves, but if you do, patch-test a small area first for sensitivity, and remember the latex caveat above.
Neither is latex-condom-safe — both are oil-based, and oil degrades latex in minutes. If you're using condoms, use a dedicated silicone-based or iso-osmolar water-based lube during sex, then either balm after.
For during-sex lube selection, see our prep guide. For the full after routine, see our aftercare guide.
Shipping & Returns
Free standard shipping on US orders over $59. Under $59, US shipping starts at $4.50 and scales by package weight. Express shipping (1-3 business days) is available for US orders for an additional fee. International shipping is calculated by destination zone and weight at checkout — see the next FAQ for the country list. All shipping rates are shown in full at checkout before you confirm the order; no surprise fees.
Yes — we ship to 35+ countries via FedEx, typically in 3-5 business days. Currently supported:
- Zone 1 — Canada: from $19 (1 lb)
- Zone 2 — Western Europe & UK: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, United Kingdom — from $20 (1 lb)
- Zone 3 — Other: Australia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macau, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam — from $25 (1 lb)
⚠️ Important — international customers please read: All international orders ship under DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid) terms. This means your country's customs and import duties are not included in the order price and may be collected by the carrier on delivery, or by a separate notice from your local customs office. The amount varies by country (typically 5-25% of order value). Customs duties are the recipient's responsibility — please factor this into your purchase decision. If a package is rejected at customs or refused on delivery, we cannot issue a refund (this is standard international policy across most US retailers).
If your country isn't on the list yet, drop us a note at [hello@prepflora.com] — we add destinations as our fulfillment network expands.
Note for US customers: Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is currently being arranged and not yet available. We expect to open these destinations in the coming months — email us if you're in AK/HI and we'll let you know as soon as we can ship to you.
You'll get a tracking number by email within 24 hours of your order shipping. US orders ship via USPS (Ground Advantage 2-4 days, or Priority 1-3 days for express). International orders ship via FedEx, usually 3-5 business days plus customs clearance time. The tracking link in your shipping email goes directly to USPS or FedEx's tracking page. If 48 hours have passed since checkout and you still don't see a shipping email, check spam, then email us.
Email [hello@prepflora.com] within 30 days with your order number and photos (of damage, or of where the carrier marked it delivered). For verified lost or damaged packages, we'll send a replacement at no cost. For "delivered but missing" packages, we work with the carrier to confirm delivery first — most show up within 48 hours after a "delivered" scan. Stolen packages from porches are unfortunately not always recoverable through carrier insurance; we handle these case by case and usually cover at least a partial replacement.
Honest answer: opened supplements are not eligible for refund — this is industry standard for ingestible products and a regulatory requirement at the manufacturing level (we can't restock or resell anything that's been opened). What we do cover within 30 days of delivery:
- Damaged, defective, or misprinted items — full refund or replacement
- Wrong item shipped — full refund or replacement
- Lost in transit — full refund or replacement (within 30 days of estimated delivery)
What we don't cover:
- Buyer's remorse on opened products
- Wrong shipping address provided at checkout
- Unclaimed packages
- International orders rejected by customs
For unopened products in original sealed condition, email us within 30 days — we can usually accept those for store credit, with return shipping at your expense.
This is stricter than some brands word it, but it's the truthful version. If you're hesitant about a product, start with a single bottle rather than the bundle.
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3-5 business days on our end. From there, your bank or card network typically takes another 3-7 business days to post the credit — so total time from approval to seeing it on your statement is usually 5-12 business days. PayPal refunds are faster (often 24-48 hours). If it's been more than 14 business days and you don't see the refund, contact your bank first (sometimes refunds post against the original charge and don't appear as a separate line) — then email us if it's still missing.
Privacy & Discreet Packaging
Plain brown shipping box. No PrepFlora branding on the outside, no product names, no descriptions. The shipping label shows "PrepFlora" only as the sender (carriers require a return name), and the carrier's standard postage area. Nothing about what's inside is visible from any angle. Inside the box, products are in their normal retail packaging — bottles with our label. The box itself is the same brown corrugated cardboard used for thousands of US e-commerce shipments daily; it doesn't stand out on a doorstep.
Your statement will show "PREPFLORA" as the merchant — no product names, no category descriptors, no embarrassing line items. If you paid through PayPal, you may see "PAYPAL *PREPFLORA" instead, which is PayPal's standard format. Either way, nothing about what was purchased appears on the statement. We've kept the descriptor short and brand-only specifically because we know how this matters for shared accounts.
No. We do not sell, rent, or trade customer data with third parties — full stop. The only parties who see your information are the ones we need to fulfill your order: our payment processor (Shopify Payments / PayPal), our shipping carriers (USPS, FedEx), and our email service for sending order updates. None of these have permission to use your data for their own marketing. If you opted into our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time with one click. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Yes, within reason — the carrier requires some name in the recipient field, but it doesn't have to be your full legal name. "J. Smith", "Jamie S.", or a household nickname all work fine; carriers care about delivering to the address, not verifying identities. You can also use the name of someone in the household who can sign for the package. The one thing we can't do is leave the recipient name field completely blank — the package would be flagged or returned.
Yes — the return address shows "PrepFlora" and a fulfillment center address, with no product references. It looks like any other small e-commerce return label. If a package is undeliverable and gets returned to sender, it goes back to the fulfillment center, not to a private home. Nothing about the return address suggests what's inside or what the brand sells.
